To My Circle of Friends: Call Me By My Name

At The Yard Greenpoint, this upcoming exhibition, "To My Circle of Friends: Call Me By My Name," is an exploration of the intricacies of identity, self-expression, and the profound connections we forge with one another. The exhibition will open its doors to the public on November 2, 2023 and run through February 9, 2023

 

The featured artists, Bobby Abate, Mitsuko Brooks, Sandy Clafford, Jim Drain, Sika Foyer, Tracy Hayes, Ransome, Deborah Reed-Miles, Andres Senra, Kelley Simons and DW Zinsser, navigate their self-reflective portraits, which is an exercise of communication, and listening through the lens of personal narratives, socio-political identity, cultural and/or collective identity.
